wedotv expands in MENA with Eutelsat
November 14, 2024
wedotv, the AVoD and FAST channel programmer and distributor, is expanding the distribution of its flagship channel, wedotv big stories, to audiences across the Middle East and North Africa via the Eutelsat 7 West A satellite, located at the region’s leading 7/8° West video neighbourhood.
wedotv big stories brings audiences factual entertainment, documentaries and other programmes covering a wide range of subjects including nature, science and outdoor adventuring.
Available free-to-air, wedotv big stories is referenced in Sat.tv, Eutelsat’s electronic programme guide. Viewers with a connected TV will also be able to watch the channel as IP stream via the HbbTV App. This enables Eutelsat and wedotv to run addressable advertising and gather additional audience data as well as viewing behaviours.
7/8° West is the leading video neighbourhood in the Middle East and North Africa, reaching over 66 million TV homes across the region. Thanks to this new partnership, wedotv is extending the reach of their FAST native content to a larger audience of connected TVs across MENA, as well as a new audience of non-connected TV viewers in hard-to-reach areas beyond terrestrial networks.
