April 10, 2024
iHeartPodcasts, the podcast publisher, and Moonbug Entertainment, a subsidiary of Candle Media, have announced the launch of a new family podcast series Blippi & Meekah’s Road Trip. The first four episodes are available now, with new episodes posting each week following the debut.
Blippi & Meekah’s Road Trip will follow best friends and beloved children’s characters Blippi and Meekah as they hop in their BlippiMobile and take imaginative road trips driven by curiosity. Each adventure is packed with interactive sounds, fun facts, songs and games as they visit exciting destinations like a monster truck rally, a singing rainforest and the roaring prehistoric era.
“We’re thrilled to team up with Moonbug Entertainment to bring the wildly popular Blippi to our youngest listeners and their families,” said Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. “We hope this whimsical new series will spark kids’ imaginations and encourage learning as we follow Blippi and Meekah on their exciting audio adventures.”
Over the last decade, Blippi has become a worldwide sensation with more than one billion monthly views across global streaming platforms and garnered millions of fans around the world.
“Blippi and Meekah’s Road Trip provides a new way to connect with children and families beyond the screen,” said Mathew Reiffe, Head of Music at Moonbug Entertainment. “Each road trip is packed with adventure and interactive games like ‘Follow Your Ears’ and ‘What’s Outside Your Window,’ perfect to listen to on the road or at home. This partnership with iHeartPodcasts comes at the ideal time as we celebrate Blippi’s 10th anniversary.”
