Magnite appoints commercial directors

Magnite, the independent sell-side advertising company, has appointed Edouard Schmidt as its Commercial Director for France and Maria Luisa Scialoia as its Commercial Director for Italy, Spain & MENA.
Schmidt and Scialoia will lead Magnite’s Demand Facilitation teams in their respective regions to build relationships with media agency partners and brands.
Schmidt is known in the industry having spent over six years at Yahoo where he managed partnerships with the big six agencies. Prior to Yahoo, Schmidt worked for independent creative agencies Les Gros Mots and La Chose, as well as Australia.GAD.
Boasting over 17 years of experience, including more than nine years at Publitalia ‘80, which exclusively sells advertising for Mediaset’s free-to-air channels, Scialoia is a leader in the CTV (connected TV) space. She has previously worked with a range of clients, including L’Oreal Group, Coca Cola and Mondelez. Prior to joining Publitalia ‘80 she spent more than six years as Performance Marketing and Communication Manager at GroupM Italy.
Mélanie Toustou, Platform Lead for France and Belgium, and Mariano De Luca, Platform Lead for Italy, Spain & MENA, will continue to oversee publisher relationships in these markets.
