Virgin Media adds more 4K drama
October 31, 2019
From the end of October and throughout November Virgin TV customers can watch even more of the best 4K entertainment on Virgin TV’s dedicated UHD channel – Virgin TV Ultra HD.
The action series Pure launches on October 31st, starring Ryan Robbins as Noah Funk, the newly-elected Mennonite pastor working undercover inside a menacing drugs ring to bring down the organised crime network plaguing his town.
On November 25th Virgin TV will bring customers the exclusive UK premiere of Darklands, the small-town Dublin crime drama co-commissioned by Virgin Media Ireland. It depicts the stark reality of how a 16-year-old aspiring MMA fighter, Damien Dunne (Dane Whyte O’Hara), is dragged into a cacophony of violence, drugs and vengeance-driven family feuds after his eldest brother disappears.
Virgin TV will also be giving customers the chance to access content from the 4K channel and content creator, Insights TV. The channel, which reaches 28 countries and 100 million homes worldwide, creates content which focuses on interesting characters, explores trending communities and works with global influences. Insights TV content will be available on Virgin TV UHD until end of January.
