Masmovil sees record revenue

Convergent telco Masmovil Group’s H1 indicate the company continues to lead the acquisition of customers in the Spanish telecommunications market and reaching new record for both revenues and EBITDA.
During this period, Masmovil continued to increase the Group’s profitability and has obtained a record EBITDA of €216 million (+40 per cent). The EBITDA margin has increased from 23 per cent in 1H2018 to 27 per cent in H1 2019.
In the second quarter, EBITDA reached €112 million, 40 per cent more than the same period of last year, also setting a new quarterly record. The quarterly EBITDA margin has reached 27 per cent, compared to 24 per cent in the same period last year.
Masmovil now has 19.8 million available households with its fibre offer, – 7.6 million with own fibre + 69 per cent, 53.8 per cent more than the households of the same period last year. The remaining (12.2 million households) are accessible, mainly, through its agreement with Orange and the commercialisation of the NEBA regulated offer.
Taking into account the results obtained by the company in the first half of the year, Masmovil has confirmed its guidance for 2019.
