According to Reuters Netflix is trialling a mobile-only subs plan in Malaysia priced at roughly half its current basic plan in the country.

The mobile only plan costs just 17 Malaysian ringgit (€3.58) a month, compared to its Basic plan which costs 33 ringgit.

A Netflix spokesperson confirmed the Malaysia trial adding that similar schemes are “running in a few countries” without going into further detail.
