Spain: Pay-TV ad revenues to increase 6.2%

Pay-TV is gaining momentum in Spain both in terms of subscribers and of advertising revenues.
Research from Zenith forecasts a 6.2 per cent growth in pay-TV ad revenues this year versus 3.4 per cent in FTA TV. The total TV ad revenue in the country is likely to reach €12.54 billion, up 2.1 per cent on the previous year.
TV ad revenues on online video streaming will also grow by 11 per cent with 61 per cent of all spend dedicated to streaming (pre, middle or post roll video ads) and 39 per cent to in-screen banners.
