VoD services continue to find new audiences in France, with 37 per cent of French Internet users aged 6 and over saying they have used a VoD or SVoD platform at least once so far this year, an 11 per cent increase year-on-year according to figures from Mediamétrie’s VOD 360 study.
Some 29 per cent of web users have used an SVoD platform at least once over the last twelve months or made a one-off transaction for content such as a movie or a boxset; 25 per cent of them say they are SV0D users, a 13 per cent increase year-on-year. Each SVoD subscription is used by an average of three people per TV home.
