4KUNIVERSE sets US premiere for Red Bull doc “Kaleidoscope 4K”

4KUNIVERSE, the new 24/7 4K Ultra HD general entertainment channel launched by Matthew Mancinelli announced today the U.S. 4K TV premiere date for Red Bull’s Kaleidoscope 4K documentary featuring BMX’er Kriss Kyle.
4KUNIVERSE will premiere Kaleidoscope on May 29th at 9/8c on its linear cable channel and the title will debut on 4KUNIVERSE’s 4K streaming service the very next day.
Kriss Kyle’s “Kaleidoscope” is a mind-bending visual riddle that combines cutting-edge filmmaking and game-changing BMX riding. Follow Kriss’ story, the massive effort that went into the shoot, and how it all came together to make a masterpiece.
4KUniverse’s first-to-market 4K streaming channel is now available on Amazon Fire TV for $5.99/mo and comes with a 7-Day Free Trial.
It is projected that a total of 34 million 4K TVs will be sold by end of 2017, representing about 1 in 4 American TV households owning 4K TV – source: Consumer Technology Association’s (CTA)
