Fox networks will mount a massive global premiere for Outcast, the group’s first original production. Created by Robert Kirkman, and developed and produced by Fox International Studios, Outcast will launch its ten-episode season on June 3rd, exclusively on Fox channels in over 125 countries outside the US.
Outcast was created and executive produced by Kirkman (The Walking Dead), and executive produced by showrunner Chris Black, David Alpert, Sharon Tal Yguado and Sue Naegle. The show tells the story of Kyle Barnes – a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life.
“It’s been an incredible ride watching Outcast come to life from an idea, to a comic and now to a television series that is going to be seen across the globe through our partners at Fox,” said Kirkman. “Having Outcast find the same international home as The Walking Dead, and having it launch day and date with the US, just like The Walking Dead did six years ago, is surreal. I hope international fans enjoy the world of Outcast, and hopefully, are a little bit scared of it too.” he added.
