Mexico: Totalplay Integrates Netflix
July 7, 2015
Totalplay, a Grupo Salinas company that provides tripleplay services though DTH fibre optics in Mexico, has formed an alliance with Netflix to integrate the streaming app directly into Totalplay set-top boxes.
This is the first time in Mexico that the Netflix app is included in a pay-TV platform. Totalplay clients can access their Netflix accounts in a simple manner, with a single remote control, and can enjoy content without the need for a Smart TV or external consoles.
“Totalplay is the most innovative telecommunications provider in Mexico,” said Eduardo Kuri, CEO of Totalplay. “Accessing Netflix is now as simple as changing the channel.”
