TVbeat, Metrological partnership
May 27, 2015
TVbeat, the next generation TV analytics SaaS company, has announced a strategic partnership with Metrological, a TV application solution company. The agreement means that both companies can identify avenues of mutual benefit and complement each other’s proposition to support TV platforms around the world in accelerating their path to monetising data by better understanding cross platform user behaviour.
The partnership will enable TVbeat to fuse STB and mobile device return path data with app usage consumption from Metrological’s Application Platform. The integration gives pay-TV operators and content providers additional app usage data to further optimise and monetise TV app store operations.
Laurence Miall d’Aout, CEO at TVbeat said; “Our analytics offering has been developed with the objective of empowering our customers to make fact-based decisions and ultimately increase their company ROI. Customer satisfaction is key, and this is why we are delighted to partner with Metrological as they are at the forefront of enabling pay-TV operators to launch and monetize their multi-screen experiences. At TVbeat we look forward to working alongside Metrological as we follow the viewer across these types of advanced offerings. Overall we want to help our customers evolve as the industry shifts towards a multi-screen world. Both TVbeat and Metrological believe in helping customers reduce churn and enhance their viewer experiences, and forming this strategic partnership cements those beliefs.”
