US TV channel AMC is breaking into Europe for the first time with its launch in Spain on the main platforms Movistar TV, ONO, Orange and Euskaltel.
The TV series and cinema channel is distributed by AMC Networks International Iberia, the largest production company of thematic channels in Spain and Portugal which recently bought Chello Media for €750 million with a presence in 120 countries.
Its arrival in Spain will follow its launch in other European countries in an attempt to replicate its success in the States where the channel is received in 98 million homes.
AMC will broadcast TV series like The Divide, Halt and Catch fire, among others.
