September 5, 2014
Motive Television has appointed Drew Kaza to oversee the launch of its Tablet Television services in the United States later this year. Kaza has been a Non-Executive Director of the Motive since December 2010. As he will no longer be an independent director, he will step down as chairman of the Company’s Nomination Committee.
Kaza has over 27 years’ experience in the television and media business. Most recently, he led the digital transformation of Europe’s largest cinema operator, Odeon/UCI across seven markets and served as a director of Odeon UCI Cinemas Digital Limited. Previously, he held senior executive roles with BBC Worldwide, Hollywood Studios Paramount, Universal and MGM and media industry giant Comcast.
Kaza commented: “I have seen Motive develop and grow its business and am delighted to take a more active role in transforming the Company. We believe Tablet TV is a game-changer and the consumer research seems to confirm it. I look forward to working closely with the team to realise Tablet TV’s full potential.”
