42% of TV sales will be Ultra-HD by 2018

UK-based technology consultancy Futuresource is forecasting a speedier than anticipated take-up of 4K Ultra-HD TVs. Futuresource say that TV set vendors can expect that 4K sets will account for 5 per cent of global sales of flat-panel displays, and rising to 42 per cent by 2018.
