The International Olympic Committee and Olympic Broadcasting Services are working with Panasonic to capture the upcoming 22nd Winter Games opening ceremony in 4K-Ultra HD at Sochi.
The games run from February 7th to 23rd, and Panasonic say that the 4K footage will then be used by the various organisations and Panasonic itself for promotional purposes.
Panasonic is also supplying all the event’s video needs including security cameras, LED large screen public viewing devices as well as broadcast equipment, projectors and conventional Viera TV sets.
