beIN Sport brings Bundesliga to Asia

beIN Sport Asia has acquired the Bundesliga broadcast rights in Indonesia and the Philippines in a two-year deal.
The agreement, which commences with the start of the 2013-2014 season next month, includes all Bundesliga matches across all media platforms and devices.
beIN SPORT is launching three new HD channels in Indonesia and the Philippines in time for the new season. The Bundesliga action will be featured on beIN SPORT 1 HD and beIN SPORT 2 HD.
Nasser Al Khelaifi, the chairman of beIN SPORT Asia, commented: “We are extremely excited by the addition of Bundesliga to our new channels in Asia for the next two seasons. Together with the Barclays Premier League, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1 it will certainly increase the value of our customer proposition and extend further our portfolio of top European football being broadcasted in Asia.”
