Iraqi broadcast platform on Arabsat
July 15, 2013
Iraqi Media Network is launching a satellite broadcast platform from Baghdad on Arabsat satellites. The platform has been built at the headquarters of the Iraqi Media Network in Baghdad, to broadcast a bouquet on Arabsat satellites on its Hot Spot at 26° East
The bouquet includes all radio and TV Programmers for all TV channels currently operating from inside or outside Iraq which Arabsat says crowns the mutual co-operation efforts between itself and the Iraqi Media Network to develop audiovisual Media infrastructure in the Republic of Iraq.
Mohammed Abdul-Jabbar Al-Shabout, Director General of the Iraqi Media Network, said that launching the bouquet would enable Iraqi and Arab viewers to watch all their favourite channels on a single frequency across the Middle East and North Africa and large parts of Asia and Europe.
