Food Network debuts in Greece
May 30, 2013
Scripps Networks Interactive channel Food Network is now available in Greece for the first time. The global food entertainment and lifestyle channel is broadcasting on Greece’s Hellas Online (HOL) IPTV network. The launch follows the recent announcement that Food Network and Fine Living are now available in Norway on the cable platform Canal Digital Kabel TV.
“This deal is another key milestone in Scripps’ strategy to expand the European footprint of our unique lifestyle channels,” said Jon Sichel, Managing Director of Scripps EMEA. “Hellas Online is the perfect partner for us to make the strong, quality programming Food Network offers available to Greek viewers.”
