FCC Commissioner (who approved NBC deal) moves to Comcast

FCC Commissioner Meredith Attwell Baker is leaving to join Comcast—only four months after she sat on the commission that approved its controversial merger with NBC.
Baker, one of two Republicans on the five-member commission, will serve as the senior vice president of government affairs for NBC Universal when she departs the FCC in June, when her contract is up.
As part of the ethics pledge she signed when took office at the FCC, she will not be able to contact any FCC officials for the length of the Obama administration. She also will not be able to lobby any executive branch or agency officials on any matters relating to the Comcast-NBC merger for the remainder of the administration.
