First ‘connected TV ad campaign’

woomi and smartclip in partnership with Mediacom have announced they have launched the UK’s first connected TV video advertising campaign with Audi. smartclip will work with the media agency MediaCom and connected TV service woomi to serve video ads for their latest addition to the model range, the A7 Sportback.
The campaign will see pre roll video ads for the car manufacturer running across various content on the woomi service. In addition, as part of the deal, woomi will host an Audi Channel with client supplied content.
woomi claims it is the only connected TV app currently capable of selling ads to audiences in the UK.
