Sherlock Holmes most popular movie on connected TVs

Acetrax, the movie retailer on connected TVs from Samsung, LG and Panasonic, has revealed the most popular film streamed through its service this year in the UK has been Sherlock Holmes, closely followed by Clash Of The Titans and Harry Potter.
The Acetrax Movies App allows users to register directly on their TVs and instantly playback purchased movies with credit top-up through PayPal. The complimentary blockbuster movie offered by Acetrax on first registration is being used by the manufacturers to help increase this number.
Key Acetrax user facts reveal that rental purchases are far more popular that ‘buy to keep’ purchases (78.5 per cent v 21.5 per cent) and the most popular day of the week to buy a movie is Saturday.
