Jupiter Telecommunications (J:COM) has revealed that the total subscribing households as of September 30, 2008 served by J:COM's 18 consolidated franchises reached 2.9 million, up 288,000, or 11 per cent since September 30th, 2007.
Combined revenue generating units (RGUs) for cable television, high-speed Internet access and telephony services reached approximately 5.21 million, up 604,600 or 13.1 per cent since September 30th, 2007. The bundle ratio (average number of services received per subscribing household) increased to 1.79 as of September 30th, 2008 from 1.76 since September 30th, 2007. The cable television digital migration rate as of September 30th, 2008 increased to 75 per cent from 63 per cent as of September 30, 2007.
