Verimatrix secures UNE-EPM IPTV

Verimatrix has announced that systems integrator Unión Electrica has deployed the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for IPTV within its platform solution for the UNE-EPM Telecomunicaciones IPTV deployment. UNE-EPM, a division of Empressa Publica de MedellÃn, will be formally launching its IPTV service in MedellÃn and Bogotá over the next few months. Verimatrix joins partners Orca, Sagem and Bitband for this IPTV deployment in Columbia.
