Roger Ailes, the mini-series
October 20, 2016
There’s to be a mini-series about Roger Ailes the legendary news executive who founded Fox News but has had to quit after a flurry of sexual harassment allegations .
Tom McCarthy – whose movie Spotlight, about journalists breaking the Catholic church sex abuse stories – has apparently been attached to the project, which was announced at the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit in San Francisco. The summit convenes bigwigs of technology, politics, business, media and the arts.
Gabriel Sherman, a reporter who wrote a book about Ailes called The Loudest Voice in the Room will also be a producer.
