Pay-TV channel beIN Sports has surpassed the 3 million subscribers mark in France, with around 200,000 subscribers signing-up in June thanks to the Euro 2016 tournament. beIN Sports holds the rights to all 51 matches of the competition.
“We were sure this exceptional and popular event would allow us to convince many new subscribers thanks to the quality of our offer and the expertise of our teams,” declared beIN Sports’ president Yousef al-Obaidly in a statement. “We will now have to keep them beyond the competition.”
The first month of subscription to the channel is free of charge.
