Six new DTT channels in Spain

Over the next two weeks, Spain will add six new DTT channels as the deadline for their launch looms (April 30th).
Mediaset is launching its new HD DTT channel ‘Be Mad’ on April 21st targeted at a male audience with a 360º strategy “complementing TV and Internet” said Paolo Vasile, CEO of Mediaset. With this new channel Mediaset will operate seven TV stations: Tele 5, Cuatro, FDF, Divinity, Boing, Energy and Be Mad.
Kiss TV, from Radio Station Group Radio Blanca, and Ten, from Grupo Secuoya will commence transmissions on April 28th with the latter offering programming based on factual and reality content
The other channels will be a FTA sports TV channel still to be unveiled, and Atresmedia’s Atreseries and 13 TV already operating.
