Motive completes integration of Google Cast
July 15, 2015
Motive Television has announced updates to the TabletTV US Apps that will allow TabletTV users who own a Chromecast to cast what they are viewing on their tablets directly to their home TV screen. The new app updates are available free to TabletTV US users at the Apple and Google Play app stores respectively.
In addition, app update 3.36.1 for iPads contains firmware update 2.18 for the TPod that improves WiFi performance and a number of bug fixes.
Leonard M Fertig, CEO of Motive commented, “The ability to share a movie or TV programme with the family by casting it to the large screen is a very attractive feature that Motive wants to make available to our users. We are pleased to have successfully integrated the Google Cast capability into the TabletTV US apps and extend TabletTV to the large screen. This is particularly attractive to cord cutters as well who might watch broadcast network TV on their television.”
