UTV Player launches on iOS, Android

Viewers in Northern Ireland are now able to catch up with their favorite UTV programmes on their phone or tablet following the launch of a new UTV Player.
UTV’s new catch up service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and remains completely free of charge. The new UTV Player supports desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile viewing, across Mac and PC, iOS and Android platforms to reach a wider audience.
Michael Wilson, Managing Director, UTV Television said: “The latest Ofcom figures show that 45 per cent of our audience now own a tablet. The launch of the new Player and accompanying App keeps UTV on the very devices our audience want to view UTV content. The Player is supported across such a range of platforms we are able to deliver great programming to viewers wherever, and whenever, they want it.”
The UTV Player App for iOS and Android is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
