Fox International Channels (FIC) has confirmed that The Walking Dead will return to audiences globally just 24 hours after its US launch. The fifth season will premiere on October 13th in all of its 125+ markets as part of FIC’s continued commitment to broadcast the series day-and-date internationally.
As in previous seasons, the series’ fifth season of 16 episodes will air in two-parts with the first eight hours kicking off October 13th and returning February 2015 with the final eight episodes.
The zombie drama continues to break ratings records both in the US on AMC and worldwide across FIC’s 200 entertainment channels in 125 countries. Internationally Season 4 consistently ranked as the number one show on pay-tv, beating out all other competition in major markets and over-preforming all prior season averages.
