Portugal’s pay-TV subs trending up

The pay-TV picture in Portugal is quite definitely a game of two technologies. While overall numbers are up an appealing 1.6 per cent, the only growth occurred in fibre and xDSL connections (which are up a healthy 4.5 per cent (FTTH) and 3.4 per cent (xDSL).
Cable and DTH subs both fell back. Cable numbers declined 1.1 per cent and DTH
