Aston, Eutelsat partner for the 35th edition of Digiworld Summit

Eutelsat chooses to showcase Aston XEBA HD Twin Connect platform on its booth during DigiWorld Summit. This event brings together the international players of the Digital Economy.
XENA HD Twin Connect, the new platform powered by Aston R&D Team, is the first satellite receiver on the market to embed the 1.5 version of HbbTV and a DRM stack (Digital Rights Management) to secure encrypted broadband content’s download. Thus, for the first time and thanks to Aston technological know how, satellite operators can now offer HbbTV added-value services to their customers who will be able to make the most of them: VoD (Video on Demand), replay, additional content while watching a program, social TV, interactive EPG…
