Youview has announced an overhaul of its iOS app. This update introduces a number of new features including:

– A search function to find programmes which are on YouView over the next 7 days as well as the ability to search for individual channels.
–  A redesigned date selector has been introduced which closely reflects the design on the TV Guide on the YouView Box.
– The programme information page now includes links to related programmes to make it easier to find other programmes users may be looking for.
– The channel day list view now shows programmes after midnight:

YouView added that search functionality for Android devices will be added in due course.
