Beta Film closes European content deal with Canal+

Beta Film, the European independent film & television group, has secured a multi-territory licensing agreement with Canal+, bringing a selection of Beta’s European series to audiences across Europe, including Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Belgium and the Netherlands, among others.
The deal spans multiple windows and platforms across Canal+’s regional services.
Key highlights are the UK drama The Couple Next Door, the political thriller series Other People’s Money, and coming from Italy, the coming-of-age series Prisma, as well as the crime drama Cold Summer, and the detective saga Makari – Sicilian Mysteries. Canal+ also secured the Madrid-set crime series El Inmortal – Gangs of Madrid and Last to Brake, the biographical drama one of motorcycle racer, Jarno Saarinen.
