Mattel Studios has announced new slate of animated titles launching this autumn.

First up, the second season of Barbie Mysteries follows Barbie ‘Malibu’ Roberts and Barbie ‘Brooklyn’ Roberts as they head to the Malibu Beach Bash festival to work the food stands with their friends for the summer. New to this year’s event is the illusionist William Warlock who dazzles the audience each night with his incredible act. But when a series of mysterious thefts rock the festival, Barbie and Barbie have no choice but to take on the case. As the thefts begin to escalate and their friends start to disappear, it’s up to the mystery-solving teen sensations to once again uncover the clues, save their friends, and stop the culprit in this maybe magical mystery where all is not what it seems. Barbie Mysteries: Beach Detectives debuts on Netflix on August 28th.

Meanwhile Barney, the singing and dancing purple dinosaur, is returning to screen with a new animated series is set in the local playground, where he is joined by dinos Billy and Baby Bop and their three kid best friends. Throughout silly and imaginative adventures together, Barney helps kids explore big preschool emotions and shows them how to love themselves, others, and their community. The first episode of Barney’s World is available on HBO Max from September 1st.

Thomas and his locomotive friends will return in an all-new special set during the big Sodor Sings Festival — the biggest musical event on Sodor. Thomas is charged with making sure everything goes off without a hitch. But when an errant operatic note shatters an array things around the island, Thomas has to struggle to find new lights, lost engines, missing workers and something to replace a water-logged Calliope. Will they all be able to work together and get Sodor singing? The 60 minute special, titled Thomas & Friends: Sodor Sings Together, premieres on Netflix on October 16th.

Finally, in a new 13 episode season of the popular animated series, Polly Pocket and friends are traveling the world and dimensions beyond – from Brazil to Unicorn World to Skatesville. They’ll be exploring new pocket-sized worlds, rescuing animals in Littleton and beyond, and helping their favourite dance star as she takes the stage in Rio de Janeiro. Through each episode, they’re discovering that every new place is filled with potential new friends and fun. Polly Pocket: Season 6 and the Tiny Unicorn Adventure Special (1 x 66min) will be available on Prime Video this autumn.
