Pace aids Yes transition to HD
January 11, 2012
Pace has signed a partnership deal with DBS Satellite Services, ‘Yes’, the Israel DTH operator. Under the agreement, Pace will provide new platforms to enable Yes to deploy advanced HD digital services, including HD Video on Demand, to its customers.
As part of the agreement, Pace has already initiated roll-out of a HD set-top box to Yes customers. The HD STB will incorporate advanced services, allowing Yes to upgrade cost effectively in the field. In addition, the STB is capable of being interactive and means Yes subscribers can enjoy payTV applications such as HD Video on Demand over Ethernet connection.
