Fox streamer called Fox One
May 12, 2025

Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch has announced that the company’s upcoming streaming service will be called Fox One. Speaking during the company’s Q3 earnings call, Murdoch also revealed that the service will launch ahead of the 2025/26 NFL season.
The new streaming service will house all of Fox’s content across news, sports and entertainment.
“Fox One is on track to launch before the football season this fall, and we look forward to sharing further details about the service in the coming months,” said Murdoch. The service is aimed “at the cordless community,” he continued, adding: “We do not want to lose a traditional cable subscriber to Fox One.”
The company will look to offer Fox One through partnerships with other services, confirmed Murdoch. Fox announced in February that it would be launching its own streaming service. Speaking at the time, Murdoch said it would be a “modest” service that would be “priced accordingly”.
Meanwhile, Fox reported that revenue increased by 27 per cent in its Q3 to $4.37 billion (€3.9bn).
Fox saw a 77 per cent increase in television ad revenue to $1.67 billion in the quarter, from revenue of $939 million in the previous year, boosted particularly by Super Bowl LIX in February and AVoD platform Tubi, which live-streamed the event. Fox said a record 128 million viewers watched the Super Bowl across TV and Tubi streaming, with 24 million average viewers via Tubi, with 8 million new registered users being generated.
Fox’s cable operations saw revenue increase $164 million (+11 per cent) to $1.64 billion, mainly due to a 3 per cent rise in affiliate fees and a 26 per cent increase in ad revenue. Ad revenue was up $76 million, largely attributed to higher ratings at Fox News. Fox’s traditional TV business saw revenue rise $766 million (+40 per cent) to $2.7 billion
