The Stranger Things animated series, currently in the works at Netflix, now has a title: Stranger Things: Tales From ’85.

“We’ve always dreamed of an animated Stranger Things in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving, and to see this dream realisd has been absolutely thrilling,” Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer said speaking to Netflix’s Tudum.

The Duffers are executive producing the new project via their Upside Down Pictures production company, along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen via 21 Laps and Eric Robles, who is also the showrunner for the series, via Flying Bark Productions.

Netflix is set to give the series a first look during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France.
