Primax Electronics selects NetFront DLNA technology

Access, a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile, beyond-PC and digital TV markets, has announced that Primax Electronics, a Taiwanese OEM and ODM in the consumer electronics field, has selected Access’ NetFront Living Connect DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) Technology Component solution for use in its digital home products.
NetFront Living Connect is a DLNA Technology Component solution that enables consumer electronics manufacturers to quickly and efficiently implement media sharing, playback and control services that support DLNA standards on devices such as mobile phones, DVD players, DTVs, set-top boxes, network-attached storage (NAS) boxes and other consumer electronics devices. With NetFront Living Connect, and upon final certification, Primax’s digital home products will be able to seamlessly share stored media assets within home Wi-Fi networks with devices that are DLNA Certified.
