FilmRise expands Holden’s role to include CSO

FilmRise, the US-based film and television studio and streaming network, has announced the promotion and expansion of CFO Johnny Holden’s position to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). In this newly created position, Holden will, in addition to overseeing all financial operations for the company, work closely with FilmRise’s CEO to lean into the company’s continued growth trajectory.

In his enhanced role, Holdeny will collaborate closely with Fisher as well as FilmRise’s executive management and department leaders to further build upon the company’s reputation in data-driven content acquisition and distribution.
Holden joined FilmRise as CFO in 2020. With extensive experience from previous roles at media companies, including CFO and VP of Finance at Vice TV, his overall acumen has significantly expanded FilmRise’s market presence and operational efficiency, notes the company.
