Viasat adds 9 to Viaplay
October 28, 2011
Viasat Broadcasting has added nine catch-up TV channels to its Viaplay service available to Viasat pay-TV satellite subscribers across the Nordic region. The channels offer selected programmes that have previously been broadcast. Viasat subscribers with an Internet-connected set-top box can access the catch-up TV content directly on their TV using the remote control.
The nine catch-up channels comprise TCM and its offering of classic movies; MTV, which is Europe’s most popular youth channel; the CNN and CNBC news and business channels; the Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Cartoon Network and Boomerang kids’ entertainment and cartoon channels; and Viasat∂s own Viasat Crime Play offers the very best in American and British crime series, mini-series and dramas.
