Australian ISP Internode will offer IPTV product Fetch TV to its 200,000 broadband customers as of this week, a year after it said it would take the Fetch service.

The announcement coincides with a major upgrade that will make Fetch TV’s content easier for viewers to navigate and will ensure the experience is more TV-like, according to Internode founder Simon Hackett.

Meanwhile, Optus became the fourth ISP to sign a deal with Fetch, whose service offers new content including linear pay-TV channels, on-demand movies and free-to-air digital channels delivered via the Internet to subscribers through its DVR and STB.

The others are iiNet and Adam Internet, giving Fetch TV distribution through four of the six biggest Internet service providers in Australia.
