Vodafone, Orange: All Real Madrid and Barcelona matches 4K
August 22, 2017
From David Del Valle in Madrid
4K content is being used as a key weapon to win subscribers as the pay-TV war rages on in Spain. Accordingly, both Vodafone and Orange will allow their subscribers to watch all football involving Barcelona and Real Madrid in 4K.
Orange subscribers will be able to watch the matches through Orange TV Futbol (channel 72) and Orange TV bares (channel 25). Vodafone offers all their matches in 4K on channel 300.
Subscribers will need to have a 4K STB and a fibre connection.
Telefónica is yet to announce its strategy but it is likely to follow suit with a 4K offer too.
