Brazil: Nielsen rolls out streaming ad measurement

August 12, 2026

Nielsen has launched its streaming ad measurement within Digital Ad Intel in Brazil, following successful rollouts in the US and Europe. The measurement specialist has already locked in a reference-standard position in Brazil, with exclusive metrics.

“Streaming has been a blind spot – until now,” commented Sabrina Balhes, Managing Director of Nielsen Brazil. “We’re thrilled to be the first and only company measuring streaming ads in the country. This unlocks a massive opportunity for customer acquisition and upselling.”

With this new coverage, brands get full visibility into share of voice, communication intensity, and competitive moves within streaming environments – helping them optimise ad spend for market share gains, expansion, or scale efficiencies.

“In just the first three months of monitoring, we’ve already tracked over 23,000 creatives across nine streaming apps which really speaks to the robustness of our coverage,” Balhes added.
