Hayu, the reality streaming service from NBCUniversal, has announced a Canadian edition of the hit reality series Summer House, with filming underway in Muskoka, one of Ontario’s most iconic summer destinations. Summer House Canada is set to launch exclusively on Hayu in 2027, bringing fans a brand-new chapter to dive into.

As the first international version of the fan-favourite franchise, Summer House Canada is serving up the ultimate summer in Muskoka – where a group of friends come together for weekends that are anything but low-key. Famous for its picture-perfect waterfront cottages, buzzing dock parties and endless summer vibes, Muskoka sets the stage as the group navigate life, love and friendship over one unforgettable summer bound to fire up the group chat.

Produced by Lark Productions, Summer House Canada is Hayu’s second original commission. The announcement follows on from the success of Hayu’s first original commission, The Real Housewives of London, which was recently renewed for a second season and will return to Hayu later this year.

Hayu is home to more than 10,000 episodes of some of the world’s most popular reality series – all ad-free. New must-see seasons are available to subscribers the same day as in the US.
