Es’hailSat, Türksat sign partnership agreement

Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, and Türksat, the national satellite operator of the Republic of Türkiye, have announced the signing of a landmark strategic partnership agreement for the Es’hail-3/Türksat-Biruni satellite project. The partnership establishes a long-term framework for capacity sharing and joint commercial expansion on Es’hail-3/Türksat-Biruni, the high-throughput Ka-band satellite at the 50°East orbital position and marks a significant step in deepening strategic ties between the two countries.
Under the agreement, both companies will leverage their combined satellite assets, ground infrastructure, distribution networks and customer relationships to deliver enhanced services across complementary markets in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. The partnership will allow Es’hailSat and Türksat to address growing demand for high-throughput broadband, aviation and maritime mobility, government and enterprise VSAT services, while sharing infrastructure investment, optimising capacity utilisation, and maximising the commercial potential of Es’hail-3/Türksat-Biruni from day one.
