MediaKind completes merger with Harmonic

June 17, 2026

MediaKind has announced the completion of its merger with Harmonic’s video business – for $145 million (€125,1m) in cash –  creating a prominent, independent video infrastructure company.

The combined company enters the market with more more than $100 million (€86.2m) in annual recurring revenue (ARR), and over $150 million in annual appliance revenue. Bringing together complementary strengths across SaaS streaming, appliance platforms and cloud video technologies, the combined company says it “serves a global blue-chip customer base and is uniquely positioned to help the media industry navigate the next era of streaming and video delivery”. MediaKind has welcomed Harmonic’s Video employees to the company effective immediately.

“Bringing these two teams together under one roof is a powerful moment, creating a stronger, more capable partner for the media industry at a time of significant change,” commented Allen Broome, CEO of MediaKind. “Outstanding technology, deep expertise, and a shared obsession with customer success — we’re ready to build something exceptional.”

To coincide with the merger, MediaKind notes that it has launched its new website.

“The completion of this transaction is a pivotal moment for Harmonic,” added Nimrod Ben-Natan, President and CEO of Harmonic. “We now turn our full focus and capital toward broadband, where our established footprint with the world’s largest operators positions us as a leader in the industry’s shift to virtualized software-defined broadband networks powered by intelligence capabilities. We are proud of the exceptional work our Video Business has accomplished and are confident they will continue to deliver the same innovation and dedication as a part of MediaKind.”
