True Crime channel expands British programming
March 5, 2026
True Crime, a UK channel specialising in crime documentary content – and part of a joint venture owned by AMC Networks International UK and Paramount – is expanding its original content library.
On April 6th, the True Crime channel will launch UK Crime Files, a new curated nightly block of original British true crime documentaries airing every night from 7pm. Separately, the channel has confirmed the return of two of its most acclaimed original series: Donal MacIntyre’s UK Killer Evidence for a third season, premiering April 6th, and Killers: Caught on Camera for a fourth season, premiering April 21st. Both series will be available on Watch Free UK following linear broadcast.
“There’s sustained audience demand for British true crime told with editorial authority – and this spring’s schedule is our clearest answer to that yet. UK Crime Files gives our original productions a strong nightly home on linear, and with two of our most acclaimed series returning for new seasons, we’re demonstrating the real depth of what we’ve built. Donal MacIntyre will also be taking that story live to audiences at CrimeCon Birmingham. Our content is increasingly available to audiences however and wherever they choose to watch”, commented Sam Rowden, Executive Producer and VP of Content, AMC Networks International – UK
