DAZN has secured the exclusive rights to broadcast the entire 2026 FIFA World Cup on pay-TV in Spain. The sports streaming platform will become the only service in the country to show all matches of the tournament in full.
“DAZN, the leading global sports entertainment platform, will exclusively distribute the GRUP MEDIAPRO channel on pay television in Spain, broadcasting all matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” DAZN confirmed via X.
The competition, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches, will take place from June 11th to July 19th and will be hosted jointly for the first time by three countries: the US, Canada and Mexico, with matches being played across 16 stadiums.
All games will be available live and on demand on DAZN, using the platform’s familiar production style and regular commentary team.
Spanish public broadcaster RTVE has also acquired a package of World Cup rights from Mediapro, to show on the public channel La 1. This will include all group matches involving Spain, the tournament’s opening match, a round of 16 and quarter-final game, both semi-finals, the match for third place and the final.
