Eberhardt named Kino Świat CEO

Tomasz Karczewski, founder of Kino Świat, has decided to resign from his position as a member of the company’s Management Board and will leave the company on December 2, 2025, after 25 years working for it. The company’s Management Board currently consists of Eberhardt, President of the Management Board, Marta Pałucka Vice President of the Management Board of Financial Affairs and Marcin Piasecki, Vice President of the Management Board.

Eberhardt added: “Tomasz Karczewski played a key role in creating and developing Kino Świat – a company that, for 25 years on the Polish market, has delivered both box-office hits and titles that have become part of the history of Polish cinema. Additionally, Elvire Charbonnel has been appointed Head of Corporate Communications for the Multichoice Group, reporting to Emilie Pietrini, Brand and Communications Director at Canal+. She remains responsible for Corporate Communications at StudioCanal.
She joined Canal+ in September 2022, first as Project Manager, then as Head of Corporate Communications at StudioCanal. She has also managed communications for international mergers and acquisitions projects (MultiChoice in Africa, Viaplay in Northern Europe, Viu in Asia) and supported Canal+’s IPO project in London in 2024. She was also additionally entrusted with responsibility for Corporate Communications at Dailymotion.
